Writers Block
Prompt: Lyn asked how do we over come writer's block and what ideas do we use. Here goes about me and Writers Block.
I will sometimes be inspired by a picture or drawing. I will hear about a story of something that happened and get some ideas. I see contest prompts and challenges and go from there. Angel and I do newsletters and we write about Halloween and Christmas. I once saw a man that looked liked Captain Jack Sparrow in Florida by the Spanish Fort in St. Augustine {he was handsome and he waved at me. I about fainted} and wrote a pirate short story. Some nights when I am off and can't sleep, a story will come to mind. Once in awhile a dream will inspire me. I am obsessed about Jane Austen and I write stories about her Pride and Prejudice characters where the P&P Novel. I wrote NA stories. I think my deceased Cherokee Great Grandmother takes over and does these for me.
At Christmas time, I am inspired by the season and write stories. "Twilight." this inspired me to write some supernatural stories of my own. I have a vivid imagination and I just go with it. I have even been inspired by Greeting Card poems and greetings and been able to write something. My muse will leave awhile and come back and I will write a lot of stories. I hope my muse comes back soon.
