Longest I Have Gone Without Reading A Book
Prompt: What is the longest you have gone without reading a book?
It is hard to say. I always read books in school and college. I guess I would have to say 1976 to 1978. I was working evenings and hanging out with friends on my days off. I didn't have time to read. When I went on midnights, I had time to read at night. For years, I was going to the library every two weeks and then I took up writing and still read. I went to book stores and places that sold books and bought books. Now, I have a Nook and I read them. I recently read "Burning Bridges" By; Debbie Campbell. This book is about Glen Campbell, my favorite singer.
I try to read my Bible and I always have books to read. I wrote and had two books published. I guess two years was the longest I went without reading a book. That will never happen again. I love to read and will keep reading. I was in the hospital and read one book. I was busy going to physical therapy and wasn't in a good frame of mind to read. I hope to never go through that again. I love reading and will never slip up again I hope.
