Cartoon Heroes
Prompt: Joy Author IconMail Icon asked about the popularity of cartoon characters and why they are important to us like Batman, Rambo, Indiana Jones and Xena.

I loved Xena and Hercules. I watched them every Saturday night. Medieval times was rough and it would be great to have them fighting for you. People don't want to be scared and miserable. Most of us anyway. We don't need bad guys and trouble makers. I love that Xena, Hercules, Batman, Rambo, James Bond, Indiana Jones cared to make a difference. Sure they aren't real but it would be great if they were. Watching them on TV makes you think what if. They are an escape to a better world. This is great entertainment. Too bad we don't have them in the real world. Fantasy. Thank goodness we have it!

I love the song: "Heroes" By: Mariah Carey. When my house burned down and the firemen came to my door at my in-laws saying there was some stuff that they saved from the fire. They saved a lot of items from my Doll Room. I could have hugged them! They are my heroes.

Bonnie Tyler's song: "I'm Holding Out For A Hero." This song holds a special meaning. A hero saves the day and the people. Save me!
