Shedding Our Past
Prompt: Just as a snake sheds it's skin, we must shed our past over and over again. Gautama Budha What do you think? Is this true?

It seems like the past is always with us, good or bad. We see changes in our town and remember how things were years ago. We grow older and aren't a child like we were in the past. We got new skin it seems. Old friends move on with their lives and you remember the things that you did together. Our house burned down and we rebuilt on the same spot where the old one was. It is like our old house shed it's skin. We always have memories and sometimes things about our life were better back in the past. Something will always remind us. Your past life is in your mind and are stored like pages in a book. You always go back inside your mind and remember and we grow and look different like a snake shedding it's skin. Something will always remind you of the past.
