Breaking free with Colbie Caillat

Song: "Break Free"
Artist: Colbie Caillat
Album: Gypsy Heart
I've been following Colbie Caillat's music since her debut album Coco in 2007, although I really didn't find a song I loved of hers until "Fallin' For You" off her 2009 sophomore album Breakthrough. I distinctly remember loving the video for that song because she played the part of the attractive girl the guy in the video was after, and I remember thinking it was such a stark contrast from other artists who try to disguise the fact that they're incredibly good looking and pretending like they're an average person in a music video... it was kind of a nice change to have an attractive singer play the part of the one being pursued instead of the other way around when the audience goes, "Oh yeah, like anyone would ever turn down Katy Perry for a date."
I've liked several songs on each of her albums, and this one from her 2014 album Gypsy Heart is certainly no exception. Each of her albums has a unique and interesting sound to it, and I think they get better each time. I also really love the song "Hold On" that was released in 2013 before her latest album, but "Break Free" is the one that's currently burning up the bit-rate on my iTunes, so I decided to feature that one instead.
