Snowbird By: Anne Murray
Snowbird By: Anne Murray

My grandfather loved this song and it was one of the songs played at his funeral. This song reminds me of my grandfather. I love this song. In the winter, we have crows and other cute little birds that are black and gray and some are brown. I love to watch them. My husband and I will feed them old bread and chips because we have drifts so bad so we clear a spot for them and leave them food. My cat watches them from the window. She is an indoor cat.

I wish the snowbirds would take the snow with them when they fly away. Winter can be a rough time. Birds are cute to watch in any season. When I had a boyfriend that wasn't very nice to me, I wish the birds would have flown off with him. The song Snowbird is a beautiful song. It comforts me when I listen to it on a snowy day. When I see birds as I hear the song, it makes me smile. I like how they spread their wings and fly away. I love when robins come back. That means that Sprimg will return. I am so ready. Winter is for the birds.
