I did songs for a writing challenge two weeks ago about songs. I forgot to include this one. Every time I hear it, I think of Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper in the movie: "Easy Rider." They were two of the neatest men around at this time. I used to dance to this song at the high school dances. The band couldn't be done without playing this song.
When ever this song comes on the radio, I have my husband turn it up. The same when I am driving. I have a tendency to speed when I hear this song on the radio. I once had a biker tell me, it's the Biker's theme song. He was a loser but I agree. My husband had a motorcycle and we loved it. I also remember this song on "Newhart" when Dick played the song on the jukebox for them. This was a great song and when ever I hear it, I am sixteen again!
