Malibu, Bluejays, Plates, Dog Named Bob

Prompt: Write a story or poem or use these words anyway you want. Malibu, bluejays, plates, lemonade pancakes, syrup and a dog named Bob. Don't forget Bob!

I was spending a month with my cousin in Malibu. I loved the fresh ocean air. I was making pancakes outside on a griddle and I put the pancakes on the picnic table and two bluejays came by and grabbed a pancake. Bob was an old blonde Lab and he chased those bluejays but they had flown away. I poured some lemonade and my cousin came outside and we ate pancakes and syrup. I gave Bob his own stack and he was happy. Pancakes in Malibu? Why not?
