Women, Our Choices Are Never Easy
In "Titanic", Rose's mother said: "Were women. Our choices are never easy." This has been this way for centuries. Does this apply to women of today?
Yes and no. Women years ago had to marry who their parents chose. Money, saving face and society were determining factors. Today, we marry who we want. We can have kids and not be married. We can be doctors, drive trucks, do men's job and even run for President. Making easy choices? No. We decide on college, jobs, getting married, to have kids or not, who we want to vote for and some women are CEO's over men. Being successful. Some men will hate you if you make more money then them. We can dress how we want, choose to be ladies or be vixens. Being rich. Rich women of rich parents may have to marry who their parents choose or be cut off from their money. Freedom to make choices? Depends on the woman and her situation. We are no longer seen and not heard. Celtic women stood up for themselves. Women have been Queens for years. Women have a say in politics. I am woman. Hear me roar!
