Roses
Prompt: Lyn asked about roses, what color should we give and how many?

I love red roses. To me, they are a symbol of love, friendship, birthday or Valentines Day. I once gave my boss a red rose after a misunderstanding and we ended in a hug and tears. Like this will ever happen again.

Pink roses are for baby showers, friendship and a new house. A man can give these any time just because.

Purple roses. They are just beautiful and say I care. I got a bouquet from Jennifer, my friend at work who is also a member here, after my intensive bowel surgery. This meant a lot to me.

Yellow roses say: "Have a bright sunny day."

Men give women a half dozen or dozen roses to the woman he loves on special occasions. A woman gives a rose in a vase to a friend. For funerals, special parties, a dozen is appropriate.

This is how I think of roses. Nice prompt.
