Knowing Me, Knowing You
Knowing me, knowing you.We had
it all. Money, love, friends, great house
and fun times on the beach. The beach house
was Heaven and was our own little Paradise.
You met her. What did she have that I didn't?
I let you go without a fight. Breaking up is
never easy, I know but I have to go. I will
always love you. I have my job, friends and a dog.
We can't undo the past. I hold my head high. I
bought a cute cottage in the country. Surrounded
by woods and no memories of you. I still love you.
I know you love her now. I just feel sadness.
I got the rest of my stuff at the Beach House.
Walk into an empty house. With tears in my
eyes. Here is where the story ends, this is
good bye. Knowing me, knowing you. We are over.
A few months later. I have moved on. I heard you
left her, too. The world will never be enough for you.
I have my dog, new friends and a man who loves me.
Why do I still love you? Knowing you, knowing me.
