Day 84 Give It A 100 Weekends
I have been working weekends since I started working years ago. I have worked in Nursing homes and now work in mental health. You work at facilities that are open 24-7, you take turns working weekends. I don't work weekends the past year. How do I get out of it? This male nurse just wants to work weekends and so he is my midnight relief. It has been strange having weekends off.

I work Friday nights but am off Saturday and Sunday night. I can go to Church. My husband and I go places Saturday afternoon and do something on Sunday. I don't have to worry about getting ready to go to work Saturday night or Sunday. I can relax. I can clean house, spend time on the computer and my time is my own. This is new for me. I admit it is nice but the only night I get off during the week is Wednesday. I almost wish I could work my weekends again. I do request an extra day off here and there. I work 4 nights a week. I am going on vacation week after next. I am taking 5 days off.

My relief will quit someday and I will be working weekends again. Nothing lasts forever. I guess I will just enjoy being off weekends. Today is Sunday. Off to see the new "Star Trek" movie. My husband's idea not mine. I am off tonight.
