Ornaments, Winter Solstice
Blog City Prompt: What new ornaments did you add to your tree this year? What new Christmas decorations did you add to your display?

I bought a Knight in shining armor from an English display at Bronners Christmas Store in Frankenmuth, Michigan. I added a mermaid and a Dutch blue and white tea Set ornament. For my display, I added a snowglobe with a moose, small snowglobe with the coca cola polar bears and my husband found a reindeer dressed in a Santa Claus that is musical that I had forgotten about. I found my stuffed teddy bear in a sled that I bought from Avon and we added him to the decorations.

BCOF Prompt: Write about December 21, the shortest day of the year and the start of winter.

This is my Birthday. We had winter start 2 weeks ago with a blizzard in Indiana. I don't think of this day as being short. I have my family Christmas and my Birthday Party on this day. Today, the 21 there is snow and cold but I am having a good day. I will forget the cold and snow and be happy. Winter, you don't bother me today.
