Animal's Eyes
Prompt: Joy asked if an animal companion's eyes can speak to you.

Yes. I know when my cat wants to eat, play or lay with me on my blanket. At the zoo a couple of months ago, a lion was growling and I went over to him and asked what was wrong and told him he had a good home and people just want to visit him and he calmed now as I looked into his beautiful eyes. My cat's eyes express affection and then she gets that mischievous look in her eyes. When I come home, she looks at me as if to say she is glad I am home or what did you buy me. An animal's eyes can reflect pain, anger, sorrow or love. I wish I had the ability to save them all.
