Annie Christian
"Annie Christian wanted to be number 1 but her kingdom never comes. Annie Christian wanted to be a big star."
I never knew about this song, either. I think we all want to be more then we are. I don't think I would do well with being a big star. I like to lead a quiet life. I would like to be a best selling author but I wouldn't care to go out on tours. I couldn't write a novel every 3 months. I am just a casual writer.
I had to wonder why this song wasn't played on the radio. I guess some of the songs Prince did, like other artists are songs on albums. Who chooses songs for the radio, may not be the ones we would choose. I am always in awe at other Prince songs that I never heard of.
Was this Annie Christian, a Christian or someone who wanted to be famous? Where did Prince get all the ideas for his songs? Even after his death, his talent still amazes me. He is missed. I will keep searching for Prince songs and be amazed. There are a lot of Annie Christians in then world.
