Mother Goose Day
BCOF Prompt: Snow said we can choose from Rhino Day, Mother Goose Day, Loyalty Day or May Day to write about.
I choose Mother Goose Day. I like nursery rhymes and children's stories. What can one do special for Mother Goose Day? Read children's stories to children at the library. Dress up like Mother Goose and other Nursery Rhyme characters and act out plays. Do a puppet show with Mother Goose characters or other story characters or give children a chance to act out like characters. Use stuffed animals and dolls as characters. Little girls could dress up like Princesses from Fairy Tales. All children stories would qualify.
Have the children write stories and poems and read them a loud to other children or adults write poems and stories and read them.
Show children movies for Mother Goose Day.
I took Childrens Literature and I loved it. This would be a great idea for me.
