History, Memory, Mist, Where Humans Come From
Blog City Prompt: "There are moments when history and memory seem like a mist, as if what really happened matters less then what should have happened. " Karen Fowler
Joy asked us to write about this.

Some things I wish would never have happened but I remember them anyway. After I woke up from being on a breathing tube. I didn't remember my son and mother being at the hospital before my surgery and my mind seems to forget certain words. I was driving over a railroad tracks two months after my surgery ordeal and I remembered my mother and son being with me at the hospital. My memory was jarred.

My friend told me I had Donny Osmond shorts when I was a teen-ager and I barely remember them. This is like a mist.
Some person walks up to me, calls me by name and talks to me and it is like, do I know you?

I can remember soap opera and TV Show story lines and my husband say I know about them then I do my own life.

Something will happen and it is like I dreamed this before and I try to figure out what happens next.

I will remember something I hadn't thought about in years. What triggered that?

At work, I write things sown so I won't forget to chart on them. We have patients return to the facility I work at and I don't remember them. The ones who did bad things, you never forget them!

I have a mist about something that happened long ago and some memories, I remember every detail. I would love to forget bad memories. It is nice to remember things, mist or not.

BCOF Prompt: Lyn asked us to write about where human beings come from.

God and other humans. I don't believe we came from apes. Like seriously? Maybe we descended from wolves. I would like that.

The one friend I went to school with, said to this one annoying teen-age boy that he wasn't born. He was pooped out on a branch and the sun hatched him out. That's where bad people come from!

Aliens. I have become a Sci Fi Fan and I didn't believe in aliens. Something flew low over my car last year and I think it was a UFO! I NEVER BELIEVED IN THIS BEFORE. So, Alex, I will take Aliens for a 1,000 about where humans come from.
