Promptly Potter Chapter Titles Day 18
Chapter Title: The Marauder's Map
Details: Harry is not allowed to visit Hogsmead, so on the morning of the first visit, Fred and George Weasley give him the Marauder's Map so he can sneak into Hogsmead.
Harry was surprised to see Fred and George Weasley visit him. They bought him some cake and a big envelope.
"What's this?" asked Harry. He looked at the envelope funny.
"The Marauder's Map. This is your ticket to Hogsmead." Fred Weasley said.
Harry smiled. He opened up the envelope and looked at the map. He ran his hand through his hair. "Thanks."
Fred and George left. Harry couldn't wait until dark. He snuck out with the Marauder's Map and a flashlight. He followed every detail on the map. He had to go by a dark, scary tree and he felt like the branches were reaching for him. An owl hooted at him. Harry laughed. He kept going. He had to go past the water shed. The moon was full and bright. He went by the horse stable and one of the horses hung out his head and neighed at him. Harry gave him a carrot and petted his nose.
Finally, Harry arrived at Hogsmead. It was big and ugly gray colored. Harry opened up the basement window and snuck in. He had his flashlight and made his way upstairs. He saw it. A big green creature with fangs and big claws. It was hissing and took Harry's flashlight. Harry wanted to get out of here. He pulled out his wand and aimed it at the creature who disappeared. He was surprised to find diamonds in a big pile. Wow. This was the big secret. w
Were they stolen? Harry would have to ask questions to the other students. Hogsmead had secrets and Harry intended to find out what they were. Maybe the Marauder's Map had more clues. He was going back to his room and study the map. Maybe he had over looked something.
