Blue Whale
BCOF Prompt: Lyn wants us to write about a life size blue whale model that is over 100 feet long and weighs over 20,000 pounds and is at a museum in New York. It takes two days to clean. I don't have a story but I will write something.
I once saw a blue whale model but I can't remember if it is at the Science and Industry Museum in Chicago or the museum in Washington, D.C. Beautiful but scary. I would like to imagine a whaling ship trying to hunt this beautiful, majestic creature and I make a pirate ship appear, Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew appear and put the whalers in a shark tank or not and throw them in the ocean to be terrorized by sharks. These whalers never hunt whalers again. I would like to do this to all animal abusers and whalers.
Cleaning the whale. I am afraid of heights. I am not sure if I could clean this big model or not but I would try. I would have to be in the cherry picking basket. After it is all said and done, the blue whale model winks at me and comes to life and I ride on his back with a seat belt. I am back at the museum and everyone is shocked. I just smile and tell everyone, let's get the whale cleaned.
