Childhood Vacation
Prompt: Write about a memory from a childhood vacation.

My grandparents and I went to the Smokey Mountains. I enjoyed the mountains and all the shops. Driving up in the mountains makes you ears pop and it is scary and thrilling to look down. I bought home a stuffed black bear and postcards of the woods and mountains. Seeing smoke on the mountains gives you a rush. Looking down the hills, I would hate to fall. The only black bear I saw was in a big cage. They should be free. Now, after the recent fires, I feel sad. Tourists lost a great place to visit and bears lost their home. Someday, it will be beautiful again.
