Stories, Ending, Understanding
Prompt: Stories are easier to understand when the ending happens. This is true in books, movies and TV. Do you agree?

I agree. I will read a story and not understand and when I read the ending, I realize it makes sense after all. I get all anxious over a story and I do love a happy ending. A sad ending like "Titanic", I cry and ask why did it end this way but I know there is a reason for it. Watching the old "Dark Shadows" Series, Barnabas was a vampire but his present day cousins didn't know his secret. That was good so Barnabas could keep being a vampire in secret.

In "Gone With The Wind", Scarlet realized she really loved her husband after her "best" friend died and she thought she wanted her "best friend's" husband all along. When I was a teen-ager and first saw this movie, the ending was a surprise.

Other books I read, a woman chooses between two men and I don't always agree but it is a good book anyway. Read a book and need to read the ending. It will usually make sense and sometimes, you think I wasted my time on this book. So, to this, I say, write your own stories. I do.

Neat Jane Austen cameo picture.
