Autumn and Halloween

I love this time of year. The leaves are changing and it is time for pumpkins. I put my animal lawn ornaments away, empty my flowers and set out orange and white pumpkins, Halloween candy is out in the stores. I love Pillsbury Halloween cake and frosting they make. I bake one for my husband and myself. I make one at Thanksgiving. I like the orange frosting. I like the graveyard chocolate fudge Pop Tarts.

I enjoy the October rains and love burning autumn scents in my candle warmer. I may be going to Michigan by the lake and see all the Halloween sites there. I love Fern Castle, the haunted mansion. I was there last year and saw spooky dark figures at night through the windows. This is Halloween! Too bad Autumn can't last for 6 months. I will enjoy it while it is here.
