Black Friday Shopping
Friday Black Shopping. After dinner on Thanksgiving, my husband and I went shopping. I got an early Christmas. My husband took me to Kohls and told me what I could spend and he would buy it for me. Okay. I got 3 sweaters, Vera Wang necklace and a hundred dollar gift card. I love Kohls so I am good.
My husband and I went to Menards and we bought a new white artificial Christmas tree. Our old white me is shabby and has red on it. We needed a new one.
The Kitchen Store had a 10 percent sale and I bought coffee mugs for my friends and some decorated, ceramic Christmas tags to hang on the tree.
My mother and I went to an Antiques Store and I bought 2 small Avon Albees that look like Jane Austen even though Mrs. Albee was in the 1900's and she was the first Avon Lady.
When I came home, my Jane Austen Golden Illustrated Treasury book had arrived. It is about Jane and her novels and has copies of letters she wrote to her sister, brother, a part of her manuscript of Persuasion that she edited. This is a treasure. Anyone who know how I love Jane Austen will understand my feelings for this book.
So, what will I get for Christmas? I may get a couple of surprise gifts. I love Christmas and I do get the 12 days of Christmas!
