Christmas Lights, Heaven
Prompt: "The lights of the Christmas Tree rose higher and higher. She saw them as stars in Heaven." Hans Christian Anderson Write about a beautiful Christmas tree.
As a little girl, I was fascinated by Christmas Tree lights. They are beautiful and I am sure Jesus smiles when he sees them. I enjoy ornaments on a tree and a tree says Christmas. Lights on a tree make you smile and enjoy the beauty of a tree and Christmas. I have used blue lights and purple lights which look fuschia. Now, I use multi-colored lights on a white tree. My new white tree makes the lights and ornaments stand out.
I like putting stuffed bears, a plastic rocking horse and a stuffed polar bear and a lamb underneath my tree. I leave room so my kitty can lay under the tree. Last week, I went to my room addition to look at my tree and I saw a black and orange stuffed animal under my tree that I didn't know I had. It was my cat! She loves sitting by the stuffed animals.
I enjoy seeing Christmas trees all decorated in magazines. A tree by a fire place all decorated says Christmas, love, hope and peace. Happy Birthday, Jesus!
