Character and Reputation
Prompt: Joy asked how character and reputation are related.

A person has a bad reputation of lying, hurting people, being uncaring, mean and is disliked by everyone. Other words that are bad come to mind for these people. Character. It can be a fun word but when writing stories, you need good characters and bad characters. You need a story. Pure and simple.

Reputation defines a person and some people have a good reputation so character may not be a credible term. A character is someone you say is a character but you don't want to say bad words about them. You hope a character can redeem themselves. This is my take on this.
