Eighth Grade Memory
Prompt: Write about an eight grade memory.
My parents and I lived I Tennessee. My Great Grandfather had died around Thanksgiving and we had to go to Indiana for the funeral. Dad was going to Viet Nam in January and Mom and I would be living with my grandparents again. The funeral was sad and I saw my old friends and we went back to Tennessee and then moved back to Indiana. I made straight A's in Tennessee and then my grades fell down to B's and a C. It was that way all through high school.
I got a boyfriend Tom but I wasn't really into him and we broke up but we are still friends till this day. I liked another boy Stan but we were just friends. My grandmother took my grandfather and to country and western shows and I saw a lot of country music stars and got their autographs. Some old memories here.
