Favorite Myth Fantasy Animal

Prompt: What is your favorite mythological animal of all times?

A unicorn. I love horses but a unicorn stands out. He has that horn and that alone says magical, mysterious and beautiful as well as being enchanting. He seems so peaceful and seeing pictures of them make me calm. I write writing stories and poems about them. Why were they born with a horn? If I would ever see a unicorn, I would be mystified and know life would be good. A unicorn is white supposedly but I have seen pictures of lavender ones and a black ones. Can they jump to the sky? They live in forests and mountains. How magical is that. If only they were real.
