Writing Your Life Story
Prompt: Writing your life story. What are some things you would highlight and give details about?
I write about where I was born, my father being in the military, going to Viet Nam and how it changed him. I would write about the states I lived in, visiting Mexico. I have met some famous people, came close to meeting famous people, being rescued by the skipper of Gilligan's Island when I was four and lost in Arizona. Autographs I have collected of famous people.
I would write about my high school activities, friends I had, going to the Prom, ex-boyfriends, {some were bad!!} pets I have loved, my family members I love, the adventures my cousin and I used to have. I would write about living with my grandparents, finding out I had a half sister when I was 42. I would write about my life as an only child.
I would write about going to a Catholic College, my nursing jobs, writing and taking classes and having two books published. I would write about being nominated for Who's Who In America.
I would write about my wedding, marriage, my sons, houses I have lived in, the house fire we had, my surgeries, religion and how I believe.
I would include my hobbies, encounters with ghosts at my job, minor but funny. Strange things that have happened to me. So, should I write my life story?
