New Horizons

Prompt: "You can swim for new horizons until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore." Joy asked how this quote by William Faulkner how this applies to us.

This is like parachuting. You have the courage to try it and you lose sight of the sky as you land on earth. Writing. Trying a new genre, having the courage you get published. You make a mistake. Face up to it and move on as well as correct it. Changes in life. If you can't control them, you deal with it and move on. We have to over come fear, pray and with God's help, we can do this.
