Fantasy, Truth

Prompt: David Burns says: "The reason fantasy is a thriving literary genre is because fantasy speak to emotional truth." Do you agree?

Yes. Fantasies play on our emotions and we want the world to be a better place so we read fantasy to satisfy our inner thoughts. Reality is rough at times and fantasy can take us away for awhile to a better place. So, we go there. Rather we read it or write it, we are there and our emotions come to life. We feel happy. This is how it works for me. Fantasy feeds the imaginations and frees us. Fantasy takes us to new heights. I am all for the fantasy world.
