Historic Landmarks
Prompt: Joy asked what historic landmarks have we seen and what is our impression of them?
I lived by Washington, DC and I have seen the White House. I didn't get to visit inside but I am not impressed. I saw President Kennedy in person at Andrews Air Force Base. I liked him. I was sad when he got killed. I have seen the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument. I liked the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument. I like the cherry blossom bushes by the Washington Monument. I have seen Arlington Cemetery and JFK's grave with the eternal flame.
I saw the Andrew Jackson Heritage. He had a nice house and big farm along with a smoke house. I think this is in Virginia.
I have seen Gettysburg where the famous battle was fought. I was a kid and looked down the cannons. I saw the Fort a St. Augustine, Florida. I was not impressed.
I saw the original Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. It was pretty nice.
I would like to go to England and see Buckinghouse Palace, Big Ben and go to Bath, England and see Jane Austen's house and her museum.
