Broken, Shattered Heart
Prompt: What kind of events give a person a broken and shattered heart?

9-11. THAT was tragic. It bought the world together but I don't think we ever recovered. The middle east was our enemy. Guess what? This goes back to the Bible with the Middle East. I was heart broken. Two months before 9-11 happened, I was cleaning house and looked around my house and thought we aren't at war and life is peaceful. I felt good about things. Two months late, Boom! 9-11 happened. What the H---? Life sure changed.

School shootings. When I went to school, we never shot anyone. Maybe we thought about it but we didn't mean it. We just didn't do that. All the murdering, animal abuse, fights with the President, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, famous people dying. These things shatter a heart and break it. Bad romances, losing a pet or a loved one, these things are heart breaking. I hate to even read the news. There never seems to be good news anymore. We live in a sad world. I pray for things to get better. I don't want to have a broken heart anymore.
