Tonight, Tonight Hot Chelle Rae
The guy spills coffee on himself and catches his girlfriend cheating on him. He decides that's the way things are. He and his band are on the roof singing about tonight. We have tattooed guys, funky hair colors and a Punk Rock Band almost. A boy band. I thought boy bands were done with The Backstreet Boys whom I love. I wouldn't put this song on my Playlist. This song is lively. Guess I am too old to be on a roof top singing. I appreciate the humor in this. What do I do at night? Watch TV, spend time on the computer, read my Bible or another book of some kind. Years ago when I was younger and not married, I might have a date, hang out with friends and listen to music. Cruising town and meeting new guys. Go to a movie or maybe go to a mall and shop late.
This song will run in my mind but I wouldn't dance to it. It's lively and not naughty. Maybe this band won Battle Of The Bands. That's the good news about this song. Give me the 70's and 80's Rock. Won't Get Fooled Again By The Who. Now, that is music. Maybe some 90's. I am always happy to hear a modern day song to see how music has changed.
