Prompt: Proverbs 1 8-9
8. My son hear the instruction of thy father and forsake the not the law of the mother.
9. for they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head and chains about thy neck.

What do you think King Solomon was trying to say?

Listen to your parents. They are leading you in the right direction and want you to take God's love with you. Grace will be with you and we shouldn't let things get us down. Be a servant to God and love your parents. Don't forget their teachings and be of sound mind to be God's servant. Don't forget about wisdom and don't be foolish. God is always with us.
