Fun stuff like R &R a car starter.
Well. It's become more apparent that my (car's) starter is having fits. One day it works okay but after a drive, you might get it to restart. This seems to be a pattern. I think it heats up and whatever goop in it makes it not work right. I wonder if there is goop in it? Or maybe just parts that are chipped off you know like gears.
I saw a mechanic just out at the curb working on someone else's car and trust me. He had it all apart including the whole front fender.l.plus the right wheel and whatever else. I wondered why that was necessary if it was
a lighting issue. It made me think of a giant toy disassembled.
Anyway he wants $300 to remove and replace the starter, which I already bought. I'm not sure how much these things cost as usually husband's or boyfriend's do this stuff.
Since I don't have either of those I'm not going to go out and get one just to get free help.
The question I ask myself is--Can I do it myself? I hurt my hand during the fall plus I'm not as strong as most men. Guys bodies are normally physically different and very capable.
* Thinks about those wonderful differences and capabilities. Hm. Is amused. smiles slightly.
Please understand I'm not saying women are weak or incapable either.
Aside from that notion, I need a 14 mm wrench. And a 3/8 socket and 3/8 rachet. And maybe a flat head screwdriver.
Out of here.
Have a great day!
