Courage In Unlikely Places
Prompt: Courage is found in unlikely places. J R R Tolkien Joy asked us how we found courage in unlikely places and situations.

I worked in mental health and I never knew when those patients would swallow a thumb tack, push me against a wall or have to do a medical procedure that I wasn't trained for. I found the courage to deal with them. I prayed. I was able to handle them. When I cut myself and was bleeding, I had to drive myself to the ER. That wasn't easy. When my house was burning down, I drove myself to my inlaws house. I felt like someone else was driving the car. I did it. Sometimes, we find the courage and say a prayer first. I always do.
