I work as a Qualified Medication Assistant in mental health. I am married and have a striped gray cat named Tigger. I remember hearing about the couple who owned Macy's I think. They were in their 60s I believe and she wouldn't leave without him and he wouldn't leave. So sad.

Yup, the Garden of Eden didn't end well, but only because our kind fell under the spell and/or advice of the wrong one.
Like you, I love roses, too, and a lot. When we had a much larger property, once upon a time, I had a rose garden in it. Once, on one rose bush, I grafted five different kinds of roses and they all bloomed for a season or two, but later on, the too-harsh winters of the North did away with that bush. At least, I have the memory of it, now.

It is very difficult when a loved one passes on. I think you are doing a good job of handling this by allowing yourself time to heal.

We discover good aspects on our own. We are on a journey. We hope our destination will be great and we will be free of problems. Life is a journey. We need to chose our paths carefully and we meet nice people along the way and we help each other. May our journey overcome all our problems. We reach a great solution and beautiful life.
