Prompt: Leap Year Day. Write about Leap Year Day today for your Blog entry today.
Leap Year Day. Julius Caesar wanted the calendar to have 2 or 3 less days in February. I don't get that at all. It does throw things off. Leap Year. I think of frogs playing leap frog. My husband's Birthday is on Leap Year. I tease him that he is only 17. Keeping up with playing bills and remembering there are only February 28 days. February. The shortest month. The groundhog may or may not see his shadow. Winter is still in February. We may get snow. Too bad it is only a bad February winter month every 4 years instead of having February every year and taking our chances. Leap Year Day. Time to leap into March!

Have you ever cried over a movie, serial, TV Shows or novels?
Yes. I cry over Titanic when the people go down on it and Jack dies. I cry when Rose dies and sees Jack and everyone who went down on the Titanic. Jack was a nice guy and saved Rose. Rose gets back with Jack in the end. I cry over an Officer and a Gentleman when Zack walks into the factory and gets the woman he loves He picks her up and kisses her and this is a great love scene. I always cry over happy endings as well as sad endings. My emotions take over and I feel like it is happening to me.
I cry over my soaps. I see these people everyday and they are like family and friends. Some I wouldn't want for friends. Soaps were part of my life for years when I worked midnights ad got up to watch my shows. I wouldn't see anybody until my husband came home. I get moved to tears by fictional shows. I feel like it is happening to me. I know I said that already.

it is not a very exciting day. We have some snow. Just a dusting. I watched my soaps. My soaps make me unhappy at times . Two very nice women, mother and daughter are turning into bad characters. You can thank the mother . I am disappointed.
I have been writing items about dragons lately for The Dragon Vale thing.
I cleaned bathrooms today. I hope to write another dragon story.
Going to enjoy the weekend and drink lemonade out of my Beth Dutton glass . I mean Yellowstone . I hope Season 4 comes back on my local channel soon. I will go Beth Dutton on them if they don't.

Prompt: What would a Perfect Day be like for you?
I wake up to no arthritis pain and my knee replacement is all healed. No sinus issues. A sunny day and I am off to go shopping. I had no problems to worry about. My family and friends were happy. The wars in Ukraine and the Middle East were over.
I got good news in my life and so did everyone in the world. Everyone loved God and Jesus. The animals wre safe. My kitty didn't wake me up before 6:30 AM.
That is my idea of the perfect day.

Sweet Valentines Day. Today is the day. I will be making a roast for supper. along with baked potatoes and rolls. I have gotten my gifts so I am good.
I watched Breakfast At Tiffanys . I always cry over the ending. Audrey Hepburn and George Peppards characters kissing and holding the cat in the rain. I love happy endings and
cats. This is a good romance story. I do love Audrey. George and the cat, too.
Cuddle your teddy bear. Drink a glass of your favorite brew. I will drink lemonade out of my Don't Make Me Go Beth Dutton On You glass and eat some chocolate. Happy Valentines Day.
Maybe I will watch Pride and Prejudice again or Pretty In Pink. I am a fan of romance. Love makes the world go round.

Prompt: Valentines Day. Write about your thoughts for Valentines Day.
I like Valentines Day. When I was single, I didn't get anything for Valentines Day. I didn't have a boyfriend on Valentines Day. I had a boyfriend once and got a dozen red roses just because. That was nice. My husband bought me red roses and a card for Valentines Day when he was my boyfriend. Over the years, we go out for dinner. He buys me stuffed animals and jewelry if he is with me.
I have got Teddy Bears. This year, I got an amethyst and diamond ring and blue turquoise and diamond ring and Kate Spade hearts bracelet and a big green emerald ring. It isn't about gifts. It is about remembering someone loves you and you love them. A Valentine, a smile and a I Love You is all you need.
Last year, my husband took me to Kate Spade and bought me a purse and necklace. We ate out at Dennys. Just being married and getting through problems and staying in love can be Valentines everyday. Somedays, it isn't all roses but you get past it and are happy again. Love is always important. I am glad I found it. Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Not much going on. I started watching that new show Tracker. It's good
I read some more of Endgame. It is about The Royals.

Prompt: How does reading affect you?
I enjoy reading romance. Regency England. I like to imagine I am in England. Fantasy stories. I believe in unicorns and dragons. When I worked the midnight shift, reading relaxed me. When I was a kid, I imagined life was perfect and thought it would be when I was older.
Reading feeds your imagination and I knew that I wanted to be a writer. I am glad I write.
Reading Bios about famous people, you learn about their life. Reading can take you anywhere and make you happy and gets your mind off your problems.

i took my mother groceries shopping today . I got lucky and bought some Girl Scout cookies today. I do love Girl Scout cookies.
I bought myself a Valentines Day gift.i bought a amethyst and diamond ring and blue turquoise and diamind ring. I had a bad year with my father dying and having knee replacement. So, I decided I deserved a gift.
It was 40 Degrees and cold. Winter isn't over, yet.
Tomorrow, I have to clean house and want to read.
This was my day.

Prompt: Laura Ingles Wilder Do we like Laura Engles Wilder's style? Did we read any of her book or watch Little House On The Prairie Series?
I read some of Laura's books. I liked how she wrote about her family being poor and the struggles they faced. I loved watching Little House. I still watch it every chance I get. Nellie Olsen was so mean and I hung out with a girl like Nellie. My friend was mean to me but sometimes, she stuck up for me. My sister and I weren't raised together but I would like to think we would have been like Laura and Mary.
Charles was a good father. Living in Minnesota and being so cold and the snow would have been rough. Laura marrying Almanzo. I thought Almanzo was cute and he was hard working. Little House On The Prairie had something for everyone.
Laura's first book Pioneer Girl was published 84 years later after she wrote it. She and Almanzo only had one child. Rose. Rose had some illnesses and so did Almanzo who had limited use of his legs. They suffered a house fire. {I have been there, done that!}Laura was related to Theodore Roosevelt. I am related to George Bush, the former President. Don't boo me. I am not ashamed.
Laura's name was removed from an Award that was given to children in her honor. I couldn't find out why.
Watching Little House. The characters are based on people she knew but the scripts are fictional for the most part. It is nice to have characters that really existed but write stories for them.
I like reading Laura's books but I would rather watch the show Little House. It is easier to see the characters and you are used to them.
When Great Grandma was alive, she only watched 2 shows. Little House On The Prairie and The Waltons. She wouldn't talk to you when these shows were on. Great Grandma traveled in a covered wagon in 1893. She lived like Little House and later like The Waltons going through a depression.
I appreciate Laura Ingalls Wilder. She was a great author.
