I think of flowers out in
the fields. How pretty.
A gift of nature they are.
Faeries fluttering in a-
ring of flowers. A good
scenario. Flowers in a
forest or a field. Oh.
They add beauty to nature.
Birds in a field of flowers.
Flowers are a gift from God.
A ring of flowers. The
moon at night.
Flowers. Leaves. Berries.

I used to go grocery shopping without a list. Say what? I just remember what I needed. I go down every aisle and see what I need. Some things I need are already embedded in my mind. I got this.
Since Covid, my husband gets up at 5:30AM and I stayed in bed. He buys the groceries. I make out the list and he buys the groceries. He does a good job. Sometimes, we go to Mejer. My son, mother and I went to Walmart the other day. I bought Pioneer Woman bowls and some groceries. This was 5:30 at night. It was nice to get out. This Walmart was in another town and everyone was nice. I even bought some cheap movies like Ferris Buellers Day Off. My son is home from Oregon for awhile.
Grocery shopping. I would rather go to Barnes and Nobles or Kate Spade. Those are the fun things.

Prompt: In April, 1912, The Titanic hit an ice berg and sunk. Write about this in your Blog entry today.
This is a sad event. The Titanic went out on it's maiden voyage and crashed into an ice berg and sank. Ovet 1,500 people drowned. It is so sad.
Watching the movie makes it seem real. Rose and Jack. A couple in love. Jack dies in the ocean. I have seen Titanic 125 times and I cry every time. All those people dying. Seeing the ice berg makes me cold. John Astor {played by Eric Braeden, Victor Newman}a millionaire drowned. Molly Brown wanted to put more people in the life boat.
They should have heeded the ice berg warnings. They should have stopped the Titanic for the night and just sailed in the daytime. They would have avoided the ice berg.
I just think the Titanic sinking is so sad. Too bad, the tragedy had to happen. We never forgot it. Tragedies we don't forget.

Prompt: Did you see the eclipse in your area April 8, 2024? How did it make you feel?
My husband was outside wearing his welding hat trying to look at eclipse. I was inside with my kitty and looked out the window but didn't see anything. We live in Indiana in a small farm town. Indianapolis got to see it. I watched it on TV. It looked really neat. I didn't want to wear a welding helmet. I thought I would just get a glimpse of it and leave. I didn't even get that.
Seven years ago, it was cloudy and you could barely see it. I wasn't wearing protective eye wear. There wasn't enough glare to cause any damage. I missed out.
