A garden of stone in the cemetery.
Headstones. Benches. Stone angels.
People we loved who died.
Strangers we never knew.
Concrete angels. They watch over the graves.
My father has been there six months.
We wait for his headstone to-
arrive from India. We wait.
It will take a year.It has been three months.
Flags on the graves. Flowers.
Stone headstones all decorated.
Dad will his all decorated.
A garden of stone. Sadly, I look around.
It does look peaceful.
I pray for Dad and everyone.
It is beautiful here. I smile.
A garden of stone. A place
for our loved ones.
We make their final resting
place comfortable.
Someday, we will all be in Heaven.

Prompt: We are never alone. We are all wolves howling at the same moon. Write about this in your Blog entry today.
As people, we try to make the world a better place. We raise families and make a living. We live each day as it comes. Wolves fight to survive each and every day. We have that in common with the wolves. Most humans don't howl at the moon but we do see the moon and it may affect us in some way or other. Maybe if I howled at the moon, I would feel better. I love wolves. I don't have to worry about finding food but as we go through life, we do have worries. I feel like I have a connection to wolves. I do love the moon. Live each day as it comes. Howl like a wolf if you want to. I just might.

Prompt:A male friend wrote in my annual that if a book was written about him, I would be the best sentence.
This guy I knew in Arkansas. He was a friend and he had a girlfriend and they were both nice. His girlfriend had a Birthday and she had a Birthday party by the pond. I was invited with some other people. It rained and I fed the ducks. I bought my friend a blue beaded purse. She liked it. We didn't stay long and we went to a teenage hang out. We ate cheese burgers. It was nice. One other time we went to the movies. I would see them at school. We got to see each other a few more times. Dad had to go to Vietnam again. Mom and I were moving back to Indiana. My friends signed my annual. That line about me in being his book {if it was written about his life}as the best sentence touched me. You would think he would say his girlfriend would the best sentence in his book. I always think of these two friends as I go through life.

Prompt: If you could dream any dream you wanted tonight, what would it be about?
I would want to dream about Jane Austen and ask her about her great writing abilities and ask for her help. I could write some great Regency novels like hers. Maybe I would meet Darcy and we could dance with him. Maybe I could meet all her characters that are in her novels. That would be nice. I would want to dream about Dad and him tell me what Heaven and God and Jesus are like. I know Dad is in Heaven. I would talk to Dad about things we never talked about. Dad was hard to get close to but we were in a better place when he died. One last moment with Dad. I would ask Dad to talk to God about me and my medical needs and make the world a better place. We do need that.

The river. How cute. Otters
Nature has a lot of beauty.

I used to love summer but having knee replacement limits what I can do. I can't walk long distances. I will be able to go to the Beach for a picnic and do some shopping at the mall nearby. Over the years, since Covid, I don't go out much. I do a little shopping and see the Doctor. My Game friend left so we don't have Game night. I miss that. I may see my cousin and visit. My husband goes to Tractor Shows but I don't go anymore. I get bored. Flea Markets. I like indoor stores. I used to plant flowers but I quit before Covid started. I am 68 and I don't do much. I try to go to Church. I liked life before arthritis.

Prompt: The Bermuda Triangle. Write about The Bermuda Triangle for your Blog entry today.
The Bermuda Triangle. I heard it is the devil's playground. All kind of strange, scary things happen there. I read it is some kind of gas there that makes strange things happen. Ships have disappeared and so have planes.
The Rock Band Heart flew over The Bermuda Triangle and one of the plane windows cracked. The plane shook but they made it.
A ship disappeared and a ship of sailors found it twenty years later. A Chess Game was set up and the ship was all in tack but no one was on it.
I hear The Bermuda Triangle looks spooky and you can feel that things aren't right.
My father was in the Air Force and he says they flew over The Bermuda Triangle all the time and nothing happened. My father didn't believe in strange happenings of the supernatural type.
The Bermuda Triangle. I wouldn't care to go there. It is interesting to think about.

Prompt: What makes you believe in the impossible?
God. He makes things possible. I have a vivid imagination. I wish unicorns and mermaids existed as well as dragons. Scientists have their own theories about the impossible but I use my judgement. I have seen people change from bad to good. I still believe the world needs to show us more positive things. I pray to God. We have to believe.

Prompt: Joy asked if we have a favorite chair.
Since I had my knee replacement, the recliner I spend a lot of time in. We got a new electronic recliner and my husband and I take turns sitting in it. I sat on the couch but in a recliner you can prop yourself up in.
I have a red velvet recliner in the front room. The stick is broke. It doesn't recline. I can sit and read books for awhile.
I hate to admit it but recliners are nice.
