Prompt: "The more I'm left alone and not worried, the better I can function." Ernest Hemmingway

When I am alone and I am not worried about things. I am happy and I can function. It is easier to think of happy, fun stories with a happy ending. If I am worried, it is hard to concentrate. I pray for help and guidance and when you aren't worried and are alone, you feel peace and can think good things and this helps with writing. Unless you like to write violence and crime, then worrying can help you write a thriller. Me, I write happy fantasy things and I haven't written anything dark in a long time and I am happier that way. I don't always like Ernest Hemmingway but I respect him and others enjoyed his writing. I agree with his quote.

Prompt: Lyn asked what the heat is like in our area.

It has been so hot. We have been dry and we finally get rain. We have had drought. We get that haze and smoke in Indiana from the fires in Canada. Not good. One night the smoke was bad and I was coughing and my throat was scratchy. I was only out a few minutes.I don't go out much. Just enough to get in and put of the car. I wish it could always be 65 Degrees. Rain once a week. We will endure the 90 Degrees and 85 Degrees. I am an indoor person. Works for me.

Prompt: Which do you prefer? Men authors or women authors?

Women. Men like Tom Clancy and James Patterson write for men. Patterson wrote a novel with Bill Clinton or was it Obama? One is as bad as the other. I like romance so I love Jane Austen, Danielle Steel, Victoria Holt {she writes medieval series. I love Medieval Times} because I enjoy women items like romance.

I like Edgar Allan Poe. He is spooky and entertaining. I respect Ernest Hemmingway but I don't care for his novels. I like Stephen King. He has strange novels that are scary and interesting. I have read Andrew Norton because he writes about the Royals. I do enjoy other women authors who write paranormal and spooky stuff. Like Stephanie Meyer. I love her books. Men write for men and women for women. I like when Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire wrote their autobiographies. The same with Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell. I like women authors who add on to Jane Austen's characters in novels.

My Beautician and her husband visited Ernest Hemingway's house and named their cat Hemmingway. Cute. I once got an email from Danielle Steel after I wrote to her. I got emails from a paranormal author Kristen Painter. I relate to women authors. Gee, Alex, I will take Women Authors for a Thousand!

Prompt: Joy asks what our favorite color is and if we could have the world in in color, what would we choose?

Purple! I love purple. It says royalty and looks pretty. It is colorful. I feel cheery and calm when I see purple. I have some purple clothes. I have purple in my purses and towels, Barbie Doll Dresses, Tote Bags, shoes and I buy something purple every chance I get. I wish my house was purple and lavender. It would look like Willie Wonka lived here but I would be okay with it. I think of Prince and purple. I have a purple bear I named Prince. I wish the world was purple. Rain was purple. Purple makes me happy. A good fantasy color. Imagine the possibilities. Purple flowers is a start. Thanks for reading.

Prompt: How was your Fourth Of July?

My husband went to Walmart before I got out of bed. I got up and watched The Brady Bunch.

We had a Cookout. Cheese Hot Dogs and steak along with baked beans. I don't care for steak.

We watched Macys Fireworks on TV. The neighbors two miles away shot off fireworks the past three nights. They get noisey.

Not very exciting.

Antihero By Taylor Swift

Taylor's songs have changed. This video Taylor is having a drink with someone who looks like her and she sees ghosts chasing her around. She is on the roof drinking a beer with the woman who must be her ulterior ego. I guess that's the phase I want. A part where a will is being read at her funeral and she has grown up kids. She leaves them thirteen cents! Taylor climbs out of a casket. Seriously? The song would be okay but I don't like the video. I guess she can sing anything and anyway she wants. She made her millions. I love her old songs and I listen to her new songs but I will never buy her CD's again. Why do singers have to change their style? I am not a young girl so I will keep her old music in my heart. Sorry, Taylor.
