Prince Writing Challenge Songs Journal

I loved Prince and I was so sad when he died. I am hosting a Prince Writing Challenge and I am writing stories and items about my favorite Prince songs. This is how I will be remembering Prince. He was great, talented and beautiful. I miss him. I hope you will enjoy reading the songs of his I have chosen. He was a Prince!

I find myself singing "Purple Rain" and a lot of his songs. I wear purple a lot and I think of him. This will have entries starting September 1, 2016.I may start sooner.

Yup Prince has been around since 1976 I believe I have some songs that I have posted that is his earlier years! You are right this is a song a bout love and not a guy being dirty! I don't think anyone likes being treated like a child yet we do like to pampered and spoiled!

You are making a wonderful play list and I love them all.

Awe... Yes! I love this song and I always liked it when Prince did a song that was unlike him for I love that there were different levels in him and performers should get outside that comfort zone and out that box as Prince was always doing! He not only did rock and roll, but he also did blues, jazz and many other types of music I think as most people well mostly me, Prince liked to be well rounded and not just do one certain thing. I like that he never thought he was better than anybody else and it appears as though he never let anyone think that he was above them. I personally do not know just what I saw is all. Love this piece that ya wrote. Keep writing as only you can as you really do have a way with words. I love this!!!

It is pretty but the lyrics are weird although I do not think that is a slam at a white girl for there are many white girls that can dance and he plenty of white girls who could dance in his band and all that. Prince was not that kind of person he was not a racist is what I mean. But he always was different which is what people always loved about him! I like this song or at least he melody!

Awe I love this song! Yes there are many types of songs that Prince did some people do not know and yet he still did! I would have love to have invited Prince to house as well for any Holiday or not! I love how you write about this and I love your image at the bottom! Keep writing as only you can

I enjoy this song and love it as well. Let me be honest there are a lot of Prince's songs that I really do love thus one reason why I could not stop at 16 and I done 29 and there are so many more I could have put in this list!! Keep writing
