Writing poetry allows me to exercise my imagination and share it with others. I strive to write for the benefit of the reader using carnival fun mirror images of my life's experiences.

My father taught me to hurt and be hurt,
My uncle taught me to touch and be touched,
My dad's friends taught me to cuss and be curt.
My mom's friends taught me to lust and seduce,

Forever knight but never once knighted,
Whatever the specifics are, it's clear,
Into his world, we're always invited.
