When I was young,
The elixir of life,
Had a different taste every hour.
Sometimes I'd own the world,
Other times I had no power.
My friends couldn't see,
Because they'd be,
Drowning in their own,
Life like a shower.

In my middle years,
My cup of life,
Lacked any flavor,
Time slowly lost invisibility,
