About This Author
Writing poetry allows me to exercise my imagination and share it with others. I strive to write for the benefit of the reader using carnival fun mirror images of my life's experiences.

Unless you've seen the years,
Pass by as if a day,
You might not understand,
What I'm about to say.

It may be delusive,
Attempting to look strong,
As I come to cold terms,
Long past my own swan song.

Abilities I've lost,
The grogginess of life,
Embarrassment, weakness,
Compound my daily strife.

If I may quote Shakespeare,
As if he speaks to me,
There's but one last question,
"To be or not to be."
