Web~Witch is living and writing with a passion, surrounded by the picturesque beauty of a quaint New England town in Massachusetts. She is inspired by the gorgeous maples, the rolling hills and the vast sea. As a mother of five children, four daughters and one son, she has learned that life offers many challenges, yet, has found that there is always a path of least resistance.
She enjoys every day and what it has to offer. Her dream is to pass along as much positivity as possible to others. Enjoying life to its fullest , laughing, spreading joy and humor and paying it forward is what describes the heart and soul of this woman.

 Halloween Handles Begins midnight, Oct. 1st!!! 
 
 Every year, "The Witch's House" sponsors the annual Halloween Handles contest, which is in October! Be ready with your fabulous Halloween handles to dress up the WDC site with the spirit of Halloween, and another member may just spot it and post it here in the forum! 
 A DAY ENDS AT 11:11 11:59 p.m. After that, Handle nominations go to the next day.

 Beginning at Midnight, October 1st, you may choose another member's creepy, kooky, mysterious or spooky, Halloween Handle, and post their Username only, not the handle-name, as a nomination. ON SUBJECT LINE!
  Don't choose me! Thank you for thinking about including my Handle, but, no, I am disqualified because I cannot give myself an MB. 
 Each person may choose NO more than one handle to nominate per day. The reason being is that handles get more difficult to find as the month goes on. I'd like to give more members a chance to find and nominate handles.
Please check the lists to see if the person you chose has been nominated already.
 The first time-stamped post with a Halloween Handle Username, is the one that will be added to the list, along with the one who nominated that Handle, as the "Nominator."
 I may not don't have the time to tag all repeaters to let them know their nom has already been nom-nommed! 
 I will do virtual dice rolls on the first full week Friday, starting 10/10, then each Friday of the month thereafter, doing a grand finale roll on 10/31-11/01.
All Noms for the day must be in by 11:11 (After 11:11 all Noms will be placed on the next day's list.)
 All Handles entered by 11:11 on October 30th, will be the final nomination posts for Halloween. The nominating will end at that time.
 (Final Rolls will be done on Halloween night, whenever the witch is done passing out candy and my helpers go home. Or November 1st , Day of the Dead. It's all good, folks! ) 
 All Handles must be E-Rated as per WDC rules about Handles/Usernames being E-Only because they are seen publicly throughout the site.
If your nomination does NOT get a  (or  / ) in its post as I grab the Noms for the list, it is either repeated, or a second post within the same day.
This >>>  means already Nominated. You may find another to nominate on a separate post within the time deadline.
If you see this >>>  That means you entered within the same day, according to timestamp, between midnight - 11:59 p.m. constitutes a new day WDC time.
Only 1 Nomination per "Username." (not Handle change)
Once you've been nominated, you must keep your Halloween handle until the virtual roll is finished. Another roll will be done if the Handle is not still a Halloween "Theme." We want to keep the WDC, Spooktober spirit, going throughout the month.
 Handles added to the nomination list, must be changed specifically for this activity.
(If their username is "creepyghost" and their handle is usually set to "Creepy Ghost" there is no specific change added to make it a Halloween Handle, so it doesn't qualify.)
 Member must be active during this activity! Sometimes, there are members whose Handles are stuck in time from a year or so ago, and the member has not been on the site since. That member will not qualify, as the member must be active on the site during the month of October 2025.
All Handles entered by 11:59 October 30th, will be the final Halloween Handles that count for Halloween Day. Meaning no more Nominations after that time on the 30th will qualify.
Over the years I have loved seeing the creative handles, especially those Handles that make clever use of a member's Username, and incorporate that into the Halloween theme.
