The Hydrangea Shrub Mother's Day 2005 an Hydrangea plant was given Daughter knew I loved the flora Did I forget to give the plant a drink Sad to say it was lookining less livin' Had a half wine barrel Used as a fountain decor It sat empty because of mosquito's Off to the nursery to purchase soil Bags and bags of soil it did consume Was my plan in fruitless vain Could this Hydrangia strain Come back in a splendid gain It was worth the try It settled in to it's new home New buds emergered Oh, daughter was so pleased It bloomed all season long ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** There it sat all thru winter Did the frost do it's nasty deed It surely did on the annual foilage In the wine barrel that shared the space Just this week I took away the dead leaves What was revealed My Mother's Day gift is Sprouting new life in 2006!
