About This Author
My name is Joy, and I love to write. Why poetry, here? Because poetry uplifts its writer, and if she is lucky enough, her readers, too. Around us, so many objects abound to write about. Once a poet starts with a smallest, most trivial object, he shall discover that his pen will spill out what is most delicate or most majestic hidden inside him. Since the classics sometimes dealt with lofty subjects with a lofty language, a person with poetry in his soul may incline to emulate that. That is understandable. Poetry does that to a person: it enlarges the soul and gives it wings. Yet, to really soar, a poet needs to take off from the ground. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **

Science and Technology Dramatists!
by A Non-Existent User
Science and technology are subjects where you need to do your research, but a human being is still a human being, even if they are a quantum mechanic, or an electronics genius.

The 4th STAGE Script Competition has announced its launch and the prize for the winning dramatization is $10,000. I can't stress enough how you should consider any 'guidelines' to be rock-hard, firm rules, as your work could end up being disqualified without ever being read if you don't adhere to them.

You have plenty of time to get your creative juices flowing, as they are not accepting entries until after June 2009, and the deadline is the following December. This is not a Science Fiction contest.

Why not brush up on your technology based writing with a 'fall' related entry in

After all, it is open to all genres, ratings and play lengths, as long as the season is demonstrated in some way *Smile*
