So the protagonist is the main character of the story and the antagonist is the person/ thing working against them (At least from the English teacher's point of view)... Is the antagonist that is in charge (or the main cause) or the effects against the protagonist, the thing that takes the most action against the protagonist or possibly just the person that sets up the idea??? Sorry if this is a waste of time. I've just heard a lot of different deffinitions about protagonist and antagonist lately and they're all blending together...
