I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and your father's illness. It's so hard to concentrate when we have such pressures and stresses upon us. I have found writing to be healing to the heart. During sad times, I pour my feelings into my characters and through them, the emotions touch my readers. In joyous times I do the same, allowing my exuberance to spill over into the lives of my characters, thus enlivening them and giving the reader a smile. You're doing great. Don't push too hard though, dear, and risk burning yourself out. It's wonderful you've had a chance to share family memories and remember the joys your grandfather experienced throughout his life. Remember those times and experiences and draw comfort from them when you are feeling low. All my best, Deborah |
